Photo Session: Baby Steps strives to ensure that your experience is one that is pleasurable and unforgettable. Our goal is to capture your child’s honest and unique personality and creating memories that will last a lifetime. Photo sessions are approximately 1.5 hours in length. We also offer location sessions and for special events such as a baptism or communion. Please inquire in studio for further details.

Order Session: After your photo session is completed, an additional appointment will be scheduled for you to return for a viewing of your images. During this time, you will be assisted in the selection process. We will work with you in finding your favorite images and determine where the most appropriate places in your home or office are to display your pieces of art. A minimum photo order of $150.00 is required.

Products: We offer a great selection of standard and custom portrait sizes. Sizes range from 5x7, 7x7, 8x10 or 10x10 for table and shelf displays and 11x14 all the way up to 30x40 for your wall spaces. Specialty sizes, such as panoramic and montages are also available. Other products include: digital photo book, traditional photo albums, custom birth announcements, custom greeting cards, DVD slide shows, framing and more.

Finishes: All photos are printed on premium photo paper. Images 11x14 and larger are mounted. We also offer canvas gallery wraps. These beautiful masterpieces are stretched on a 2” stretcher in where the image is wrapped around.

Q: Are there any proofs I can keep from my session?
A: Yes. A few days after your photo session, you will receive an e-mail with your images in contact sheet format.

Q: After placing my order, how long will it be before I receive my final prints?
A: Once your order has been placed and all specialty retouched has been approved, your finals prints are ready in approximately 6-8 weeks.

Q: Is retouching included for all prints?
A: Yes. Minor retouching, such as blemishes or scratches is included for all prints. There is a nominal fee for specialty retouching. Please inquire in studio.

Q: How far in advance do I need to book?
A: To ensure you receive the date you require, it is best to schedule your appointment several weeks in advance. For location or special event photo sessions, please call to schedule your session as soon as you are made aware of your date. If you need to reschedule your session, 24-hour notice is required.

Q: When do I pay for my order?
A: We ask that you be prepared to pay for your order at the time of your order session. Photo sessions are also paid upon completion.

Q: what should we wear?
A: Clothing should be a reflection of your families’ style and personality. Your photographer will contact you prior to your session to discuss the details of clothing and poses.
